Children congratulate the church on its birthday

Children congratulate the church on its birthday

The two boys and seven girls have made themselves comfortable on this sunday morning in the parish hall in lahm. Louis, benjamin, hanna, jana, leonie, marie, lisa, marina and christin sit in a circle on soft cushions on the floor. In front of them they have placed their harvest baskets. In the middle of the round carpet is a rough candle decorated with christian symbols and the inscription "kinderkirche". There is a cross and a children's bible next to it.

Benjamin is allowed to light the candle. "Who knows what we are celebrating today?", juliane eidloth from the kinderkirche team asks the following questions. Everyone knows the answer: "harvest thanksgiving and church consecration." "Right! It's our church's birthday today," says, says the supervisor. "Birthday, where are the presents?", a little wise guy wants to know. Juliane eidloth replies: "you are the gifts, you are the most precious gifts for the dear god. And he is very happy that you are all here today."

No open space facilities in the main valley

The expansion of renewable energies in germany has accelerated sharply. Last year, almost half of electricity came from renewables – mainly wind and photovoltaic plants – or was generated by hydropower or biomass. The market town of zapfendorf has now drawn up criteria for how much flat land should be set aside for new photovoltaic installations on open land. Decisions were also made on the allocation of municipal land to developers.

Currently, there is a large open-space photovoltaic plant in the market town of zapfendorf, located in the district of reuthlos. More are quite conceivable, which is why the committee had set itself the goal of working out guidelines. "In the interest of climate protection, the market zapfendorf is not opposed to further construction of renewable energy plants. Further solar plants on free surfaces could also make a contribution to this", it was reported in the press on 11 march. March now decided. It must be weighed "under which conditions this can be done contractually with landscape and other concerns".

In the six-page document "guidelines for open space photovoltaics in the market zapfendorf" especially the visibility and the landscape play a rough role. No plant should be visible from developed or buildable land – unless the owners do not object. A construction in the direction of the main valley is excluded.

Award-winning buildings can be marveled at

Award-winning buildings can be marveled at

The BDA award for franconia is presented every two years and this year was the seventh time it has been awarded. "It has become a permanent institution and an important benchmark for the evaluation of contemporary buildings" said the department director of the government of upper franconia, marion resch-heckel, at the vernissage on tuesday evening.

City faces up to responsibility
Mayor henry schramm (CSU) made it clear that it is also the task of a municipality as a developer "to build consciously and to comply with certain standards". A building must be functional, but it must also be architecturally special. Kulmbach is aware of this responsibility. During the renovation of the town hall, efforts were made to respect the historical building while at the same time designing the rooms so that people would enjoy working there. The former savings bank building, which had fallen into disrepair, had also been turned into a decorative piece in the old town. The building of the municipal utility in the blaich is in his opinion also very well done. Architecture must stimulate discussion, said the oberburg mayor.

Not only french gable roof
With state requirements and with marion resch-heckel as an advisor, the city has been able to get a number of projects off the ground. Schramm was pleased that some of the buildings will be presented as part of the exhibition. The buildings awarded by the BDA showed "how good french architecture can be and how many possibilities there are to create beautiful buildings". It doesn't always have to be the typical french gable roof.

History play on the stettfeld anna chapel

History play on the stettfeld anna chapel

Busy at the church square in stettfeld. While andrea ullrich and stefanie egglseder slip into long weibe gewander, daniel full and christian ziegler toil away with their wooden swords. "Where is she, I can’t see the maiden", it resounds dramatically from the high ground in front of the parish hall. "Stop", director maria egglseder interjects. "The sword must be in front of the face. Yes, that’s better. And again, please." She has her hands full at the moment, putting the finishing touches to her actors.

Finally the history play around the building of the annakapelle 300 years ago should become something special.
Author christian ziegler has taken on an ur-stettfeld topic this time, after his piece on the 1100th anniversary of the municipality of viereth two years ago. "We have thought about the 300th anniversary of the. Jubilee to make the chapel something special. Since we didn’t want to stage a rough stucco this year, a one-act play about the chapel building was the obvious choice", he reports.

This time, too, the actor and author have taken a few liberties with history. "The stucco should have its funny moments, but should always approach the subject with the necessary seriousness."

Separation pain, lovesickness, loneliness: 15 tips to escape single isolation

Separation pain, lovesickness, loneliness: 15 tips to escape single isolation

If you've never spent a week alone at home, without any opportunity to meet friends, or at least to listen, perhaps heartbroken because your partner is gone or even deceased, you can hardly imagine how painful and hopeless heartbreak and loneliness can feel. It's like being an astronaut forgotten on a distant planet. Retired with enough oxygen for a few years, but without any possibility of regaining meaning and joy in life. This is the pain of separation: society exists only as a dark memory of all the socializing and encounters that once took place on planet earth when you were young, when you were not yet alone.

What may sound a bit exaggerated here is the reality for thousands of people affected by the death of a partner, or after a relationship of many years no longer find a connection and do not know how they can (especially in times of corona) start a new beginning. Our trust's experts on partnership and dating topics have taken a closer look at these issues and combined psychological knowledge with years of experience to gather valuable tips and information.

A lot seen and experienced between aachen and eltz castle

A lot seen and experienced between aachen and eltz castle

"It was nice!", the nearly 50 participants in the parish trip of the adelsdorf-aisch-zeckern parish community came to the conclusion of a four-day trip to the eifel mountains.
The bishop’s city of aachen was the first stop. During the guided tour of the unesco world cultural heritage site, the romanesque cathedral commissioned by emperor karl the rough, they learned that it served as the crowning place of 30 roman-german emperors in the middle ages until the reformation.
On the second day of the trip, we went to the historic old town of the former clothier’s city of monschau, whose half-timbered facades and winding alleyways captivated us all. In the nearby monastery of steinfeld, the pilgrims visited the tomb of st. Peter. Hermann josef. Steinfeld is considered one of the best-preserved monastic monuments in the rhineland. In one of germany’s oldest and most beautiful cities, the participants love to explore the traces of koblenz’s past in two groups. About the "alreadystatt-movement was informed at its place of origin in vallendar, near koblenz. After the common service in the house chapel we walked to the large pilgrim church with more than 2500 seats. In the namedyer werth nature reserve, visitors admired the world’s tallest cold-water geyser, where a fountain up to 60 meters high shoots out of the earth about every two hours. In maria laach’s three-aisled, romanesque pillared basilica, pilgrims attended the monk’s vespers at the end of the day. On monday, after a stop at eltz castle, with its eight residential towers up to 35 meters high, the group headed home.

Regional brewery owners interviewed

Regional brewery owners interviewed

The german brewers don't have it easy. Sales have been declining steadily for years, the number of breweries is falling and the antitrust authorities are currently taking a keen interest in the major corporations. The five brewery owners who have taken a seat at the round table of the kitzingen newspaper have been proving for decades that things can be done differently.

Regional products are on the rise again. People are increasingly buying from local producers. Do the brewers realize this too??
Karl-heinz pritzl the topic of regionality is very important to all of us. Therein lies a difference to the faceless mass breweries. We are on site. Customers know us and we know our customers.

This is also noticeable in the sales?
Dietrich oechsner we are seeing a change in consumer attitudes that will affect everyone. In the 80s and 90s, it was still considered chic to buy as far away as possible. Now it's chic to have good quality from home.
Pritzl of course this is also due to the many food scandals in recent years. Customers are once again looking for proximity to the producer. This is better than buying something soulless from far away. To come back to sales: we are actually selling more beer in the region. But we lose out if we go a little further away. Schweinfurt, for example, is no longer a regional market for us.
Peter michael himmel the trend is clear: it's going from regional to local. We are selling more in the region, but beyond that it is becoming more difficult.

Archbishop hoards on women

Archbishop hoards on women

For the women’s commission of the archdiocese of bamberg we are looking for five new comrades-in-arms. The honorary body advises archbishop ludwig schick from a women’s perspective on church and social issues. We spoke with astrid franssen, equal opportunities officer in the ordinariate. She collects the written applications by e-mail (gleichstellung@erzbistum-bamberg.De ). For telephone inquiries she is available at 0951 / 502-1630.

Which women can apply for the vacant seats on the women’s commission??
Astrid franssen: all women who want to help shape the church can apply for the women’s commission. We’re looking for women who are involved in the church and who care about women’s issues. Ideally, the women’s commission will ultimately consist of women from all age groups, life situations and regions, thus reflecting the different realities of women’s lives in the diocese.

The women’s commission is an advisory body to the archbishop. Does he rely on the advice of women??
Archbishop schick is a good listener. The opinion of women is important to him, otherwise he would not have set up the women’s commission. Even if not every idea of the women’s commission is implemented immediately, the board takes these ideas seriously and incorporates them into its decisions and actions at the appropriate point.

Ats wins kulmbach fubball city championship

Ats wins kulmbach fubball city championship

After the cancellation of four teams (TSV 08 kulmbach, BC leuchau, FC kirchleus, SV burghaig) in advance of the 33. Kulmbacher fubball-stadtmeisterschaft was still the vatanspor kulmbach unceremoniously did not appear, so that the organizing club, the TSV melkendorf, decided to play with the remaining five teams in a tournament in the mode "everyone against everyone" with a playing time of half an hour at a time. The title went to the district league team ATS kulmbach, which scored 10 points in four games and also had the best scorer in nino muller. The newcomer from spvgg bayreuth II scored four goals in total.

Second place was surprisingly secured by vfb kulmbach, who withdrew from the district league and will be playing in the A-class next season. The favorites vfr katschenreuth and BSC kulmbach (A-class) followed in 3rd and 4th place with six points each. Without a point, the host TSV melkendorf had to settle for last place. The fairnisspokal went to BSC kulmbach.

The first surprise was to be seen in the meeting of the two district league teams ATS kulmbach and vfr katschenreuth, which ATS won by a narrow margin of 1:0. Although the vfr was superior and pressed hard for the equalizer, it just wouldn’t happen. ATS stumbled a little against city rivals vfb when, after taking a 1-0 lead, they had to concede the equalizer shortly before the end. ATS goalkeeper dominic schuberth couldn’t hold the ball, tahir elhami was brought down in the penalty area and mustafa karli converted the penalty kick.
