Spd with worst election result ever, afd candidate not to be spoken about

Josef hofbauer since shortly before 6 p.M., atila karabag, the direct candidate of the forchheim SPD for the bavarian state parliament, had been waiting for good news in the currywosch house. In vain. In the company of two dozen friends, he had to acknowledge the worst performance of the social democrats in bavaria ever.

"I am mablos disappointed", conceded karabag in view of the 6.57 percent of the electoral votes he was able to muster. This was well below the national result of less than ten percent. Nevertheless, karabag was convinced: "we have addressed the right issues. Education and housing are key issues affecting all citizens. Why the SPD could not turn this into an electoral success is a mystery to him.

The mayor of forchheim, uwe kirschstein (SPD), was equally stunned. Apparently, voters behave differently in state and federal politics. Even the SPD’s regional successes did not give the party a boost.

Karmann wants to continue

Karmann wants to continue

In 2014, michael karmann (zwdg/ CSU) won the election for mayor of buttenheim against bernhard bickel (NWG). Now he is running as the only mayoral candidate. The question is how many voters will make use of the option to write a different name on the ballot paper.

In any case, karmann sees himself in the right position as mayor "because I will gladly continue to contribute my qualifications as an administrative specialist, my proven commitment and the experience I have gained in office in order to lead the market town of buttenheim into a sustainable future together with all those who want to work together in a goal-oriented and serious manner". What annoyed you most about your community last year and why?? The term "gegert is perhaps a little overstated. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the way deutsche bahn dealt with what I considered to be justified municipal interests in the ICE expansion project. Recently, however, i have noticed an improvement in cooperation.

What has been your greatest political achievement in the last six years??

1000 Liters of apple juice for the “tafel” in kulmbach

1000 liters of apple juice for the 'tafel' in kulmbach

Bright red apples hang from the trees on tim pistor’s property. A picture straight out of paradise. The 32-year-old has already harvested some trees with the help of many volunteers, but many trees are still overcrowded. Especially the later varieties let pistor stay on the tree as long as possible. Because that’s where they’re most likely to stay fresh and crisp.

"I’m experiencing a real apple glut this year. The drought couldn’t change that. Apparently my floor fits", says tim pistor and sighs a bit theatrically. While others complain that this year’s harvest was anything but abundant, pistor doesn’t know where to put all the apples anymore. He himself cannot possibly consume it. "I like to eat apples. But I don’t really drink fresh apple juice myself. It is simply too much what has grown this year."

Make the world a little better

Without further ado, pistor has joined the "transition kulmbacher land" movement CONNECTED. This is a movement that wants to make the world a little bit better. "Our motto is: now. Simply. Make", tim pistor explains the group’s goals. Together with friends like tim reich and kathrin hain, with neighbors, with family members and with members of the V 3 party, pistor harvested the trees. "It was not difficult to find harvesters. In total 15 people helped."

Klopp annoyed: scolding for hummels critics

Klopp annoyed: scolding for hummels critics

Jurgen klopp complains about overly critical treatment of borussia dortmund players and also wants national coach joachim low to clear up the most recent accusations against mats hummels.

"I don’t think jogi low has a problem with borussia dortmund. But it’s also a fact: if mistakes get names, then it’s not unlikely that it’s a borussia dortmund player," klopp told tv station sky before the BVB game against hamburger SV (6:2).

In the ZDF interview after the game, a visibly annoyed klopp then followed up, saying that hummel’s performance, like that of other dortmund players, had not been properly assessed by the media. "I wanted to discuss about the right thing and not open topics – not: ‘klopp says that about low’. That’s nonsense. I’d like to talk about soccer," klopp said in the "ZDF-sportstudio". "You are not out of responsibility," dortmund coach told critics.

Us newspapers deplore chinese hacker attacks

Hackers had penetrated the newspaper’s computer network and were able to take full control of some computers. According to its own report, the "wall street journal" has been the target of hackers from china for several years. The chinese hackers apparently wanted to monitor the newspaper’s coverage of china, the world-famous business daily wrote in its friday edition.

The newspaper that belongs to the news corp. Heard by rupert murdoch, sees in the attacks a widespread phenomenon. Other major media are also affected, such as the financial news specialists bloomberg and thomson reuters. The federal bureau of investigation has been investigating the matter for more than a year, it said, citing people familiar with the matter. The FBI is even considering classifying the case as a threat to national security.

The attacks could put whistleblowers in danger and make reporting much more difficult, the newspaper fears. The most recent attack took place in the middle of last year and was discovered by the FBI. One of the gateways for the hackers was the office of the newspaper in beijing, from which they had gained access to the entire network.

Bad kissingen demands funds for sewer work

Bad kissingen demands funds for sewer work

Mayor kay blankenburg (SPD) did not seem to feel quite at ease in his own skin: "i know it's a heibes eisen", he said at the beginning of a meeting in which he had to explain to a number of burghers why the city had to pay a total of 600 euros in arrears.000 euros for trench and sewer work from the years 1997 to 2009 from them wants to collect.

The precarious thing is that the city administration was originally of the opinion that no contributions would be levied for these measures. But because the municipal auditing association found in 2011 that the contributions were "without ifs and buts", the mayor was not entirely comfortable with the situation – the head of the town – the kissing authorities had to correct their view. At the same time the mayor promised: "nobody has to sell his house to pay the contributions."

Construction director hermann schober explained the technical side of the then canal and street tree inspections, which served primarily to protect the healing spring area and thus included the following streets: hemmerich,- kapellen-, von-der-tann-strabe, reithaus- and eisenstadter platz. Since the mabnahmen were closely related, only one engineering firm was commissioned, and it was not until 20. September 2009 the final bill. And whoever was the owner of the property at that time is also the one who is liable to pay the contribution. Naturally, this did not please those who considered properties or condominiums in the street areas to be "free of encumbrances had acquired.

The trubach gets a new bridge

The trubach gets a new bridge

For agricultural residents on the left of the river trubach, the construction of a new bridge between hagenbach and lutzelsdorf has become necessary. After the heavy rains of the past few days, the workers have finally been able to start building the bridge. The work should be completed by summer. The construction site is located in the immediate vicinity of the existing wooden walkway.

The bridge is being built under the direction of the office for rural development. According to the office, 116,000 euros have been earmarked for the bridge. For the access road will fall another 26 000 euros.
The new construction, which is being carried out in close coordination with the water management office, the nature conservation authority and the municipal administration, has meanwhile also attracted the attention of the local fishing club in hagenbach. Together, the temporarily altered course of the trubach could be prevented from causing gross damage to wildlife.

New home for the noble crayfish
The remaining brown trout and rainbow trout as well as some noble crayfish have been moved to their natural habitat.
"Amazing and at the same time a proof of the good water quality" according to the fishing association, the 200 or so muhlkoppen that were found in the 20-meter-long empty trubach section are also a new home for the noble crayfish.
There has been no rescue for the larvae of caddisflies, creek fleas and other micro-organisms.
In this context, the fishing association can only hope that the flora and fauna will recover quickly after the completion of the construction work.
