Jobcenter lichtenfels imposes more penalties

Jobcenter lichtenfels imposes more penalties

The news was a bombshell: the number of penalties imposed on hartz IV recipients between august 2011 and july 2012 was 1.017 million. In the district of lichtenfels, too, the number of hartz IV recipients who were penalized and therefore received less money has risen in recent years.

Managing director wolfgang franz and his 40 or so employees at the lichtenfels job center are concerned about around 1,500 people who are currently receiving hartz-IV benefits. "Customers" he calls them and by no means all of his customers are unemployed, franz emphasizes – that is currently around 770 people in the district. Among the hartz-IV-recipients there are also sick people, people who are in further education, or women who are on family leave. What they all have in common is that they are needy. Officially recognized by the social code II.

Fewer hartz IV recipients
Wolfgang franz had reason to rejoice. The number of his customers is declining. Just four years ago, the job center in lichtenfels had over 2,400 people to look after. Today there are almost 1000 people less. Wolfgang franz could rejoice, but he does not. Because no one can make rough jumps to his customers, the job center's managing director says. The hartz IV standard rate is 364 euros for a single person – that doesn't leave much left over at the end of the month. With a serious expression on his face, he says: "every unemployed person is one too many. Our job is to find work for our customers when they are unemployed."

Mancity team in the millions again on the brink of elimination

mancity team in the millions again on the brink of elimination

After the 2:2 (1:2) against ajax amsterdam, the english champions are as good as eliminated, just like last year. Coach roberto mancini immediately took issue with the referee and the english media over this de-feat. When he looked at the table of the dortmund group, he was left with only one bitter realization: "I think the champions league is over."

Theoretically, mancini’s million-dollar squad can still hope to win its two remaining games against real madrid and BVB, plus get protective help from ajax against one of those two teams. But in practice, not even a single victory against the aubenseiter from amsterdam was enough in the past two weeks. Ajax, which loses its best players year after year, is something like the exact opposite of this highly ambitious city project financed with vast sums of money.

Taken over by sheikh mansour bin zayed al nahyan of abu dhabi in 2008, manchester united’s city rivals have since thrown money around like no other club in the world. Mancini has been allowed to sign new players for more than 330 million euros in the past three years. At least in the champions league, the balance sheet is devastating in terms of these investments.

Helpful sisters

Lena's two sisters are a lucky case after all. They copied many of the techniques from lena's therapist. "Two very nice girls who make me strong", says the mother. They spend their time caring for lena – and the oldest sister says: "if lena can't walk later, I'll carry her on my back."
The psychological stress in the family has led to the parents separating from lena, even if the father continues to care for his daughter. The care of lena and a disc condition make it jasmin C. Moreover, it seems like an irony of fate that jasmin C. Formerly caring for handicapped children and now going through the fate of a mother with a handicapped child herself. In addition, heating costs are very high, because the apartment must be 30 degrees warm, so that lena joints do not stiffen. The C family. Is already with a monthly rent in arrears. Also the additional costs and the wood for the winter still had to be paid.

Stopped by police when she was on her way to swim with her three daughters. The officials complained that a "special child seat" was needed for lena are needed. This seat, however, is so rough that jasmin C. Kunftig can no longer accommodate all three children in the car. Actually, she needed a new cart. But for the time being the family C. It would have helped a lot if the "franken helfen franken" campaign had raised enough money to pay the rent and buy wood for the winter.

Schweinfurt ddc reaches for the dance crown

They are the reigning world breakdance champions and can now also claim the title of "germany's best dance act" home: the dancefloor destruction crew (DDC) from schweinfurt stands on friday at 20.15 o'clock on sat.1 in the final of the dance talent show "got to dance.

This is not the 20- to 30-year-old's first foray into the rough, colorful world of casting: back in 2010, the five franconians took part in the RTL show "das supertalent" entered the debate and was eliminated in the semifinals. But not only because they have now made it to the finals, the two shows cannot be compared in the eyes of the boys. "Here, every candidate simply brings an insanely high level with them. On the supertalent there are also candidates who are there for the quota. On got to dance, on the other hand, all the contestants are really good," says pollner, explains alexander pollner from the DDC.

Actually, it's no wonder, because in contrast to other casting shows, the selection of the candidates for "got to dance" was very difficult not a product of chance, created during open castings. Instead, talent scouts were used in advance, who specifically searched online for possible candidates in various dance styles. "Then we were contacted and invited to the pre-casting", he tells pollner. "And we were very pleased about that! We thought, finally, a show that's all about dancing."

European parliament won’t swallow “bitter pill”

european parliament won't swallow 'bitter pill'

The european parliament has halted the european budget package agreed at the eu summit for the time being. The goal is to get more money out for climate protection, research, health and students, the parliament declared today in a resolution adopted by a large majority.

"We are not prepared to swallow this bitter pill at the moment," said the leader of the european people’s party, manfred weber (CSU). Similar is the view of the other rough factions. They also demand a clear rule that EU money can be cut in the future in the event of violations of the rule of law.

The heads of state and government of the 27 member states agreed on tuesday on a corona crisis program of 750 billion euros and a seven-year eu budget of 1 billion euros.074 billion euros agreed. The budget needs the approval of the EU parliament, which now wants to push through changes in a conciliation procedure. The decision will probably be made in september.

Giving up is not an option for fdpler hans muller

Giving up is not an option for fdpler hans muller

He laughs silently to himself, nods knowingly and searches for the right wording. And then hans muller utters the word, the name that no FDP member can handle at the moment: rosler. The federal party chairman and economics minister is a hotly contested figure in his party. Hans muller, the county chairman and county councilor, also has his problems with philipp rosler. He lacked the charisma, the effect of a hood.

After the last federal election, the finance minister had to be from the FDP, finds muller. The finances are the metier of the liberals. On the federal level, some things didn't go well in terms of personnel, says the wiesentheide lawyer. And the negative mood that has spread throughout the country is hard to get out again.

Muller is not sparing with self-criticism. His party stands for personal responsibility and the freedom of the burgher. No political level has ever succeeded in making this clear to the people of auben. Muller was once a CSU member. In 2006, he joined the liberals and was immediately elected district chairman, a fact that did not go unnoticed by the people of the district. That was already a topic people were talking about. Muller also drew some other christian socialists with him to the FDP. At that time, the liberals were doing well nationwide.

Grune calls for immediate climate protection program

Grune calls for immediate climate protection program

The consequences of global warming in this country have been ignored "so that we can continue to claim that we can wait and see on climate protection and postpone the coal phase-out," said annalena baerbock, head of the green party, to the "westdeutsche allgemeine zeitung".

But the more time goes by, the more likely it is that costs will rise. Baerbock told "heilbronner stimme" that the federal government should work for an effective climate protection program, the end of coal, an ecological change in transportation and a CO2 price. "Unfortunately, it does not do this, but refuses to set guard rails that we achieve the climate protection goals. This is a great danger for this industrial country, especially for the automobile industry."

The head of grunen told the "rheinpfalz" newspaper that unlike other developed countries, there is no overarching plan in this country to limit the consequences of extreme weather events such as heavy rain or drought. At the federal level, there is only one climate adaptation program, "and that dates back to 2008".

Ig construction: construction cleaners ready to strike for christmas pay

Ig construction: construction cleaners ready to strike for christmas pay

Building cleaners in germany could go on warning strike before christmas to force collectively agreed christmas pay.

"We are already planning to take industrial action," said ulrike laux, a member of the federal executive committee of IG bauen-agrar-umwelt, to the deutsche presse-agentur in frankfurt. The federal board will discuss the matter next week, he said. Warning strikes could still be averted if employers show signs of relenting.

So far, there is no collectively agreed christmas bonus in the industry. For a settlement, a new collective bargaining agreement would have to be reached outside the existing agreements on income and framework conditions, said laux. "This is a completely new field in which we have all the design possibilities. In particular, there is no peace obligation," said the trade unionist. One will also not wait much longer with warning strikes: "finally it is about the christmas money."

Ex-terrorists remain missing

Ex-terrorists remain missing

More than three years after the start of the public manhunt for three ex-RAF terrorists for a series of robberies in northern germany, investigators come up empty-handed.

"The main problem for the prosecution is that we don’t know where the three wanted men are," said senior public prosecutor marcus roske in verden. There are no new leads on ex-terrorists ernst-volker staub (65), burkhard garweg (50) and daniela klette (61). In future, the verden public prosecutor’s office will conduct investigations into all the robberies for which the trio is responsible as part of a collective procedure. First the "spiegel" had reported about it.

Garweg, klette and staub belong to the so-called third generation of the RAF. Several murders are said to be theirs, for example of deutsche-bank boss alfred herrhausen (1989) and treuhand boss detlev karsten rohwedder (1991). So far, the investigators had assumed that the former members of the red army faction had committed twelve robberies to earn their living since 1999.

High penalty for “booze” idea

A 29-year-old man from the habberge district had a good chance of being chosen as the defendant of the month. Neatly dressed in a woman's shirt, he sat dutifully next to his lawyer in the dock of the district court in habfurt. He spoke in clear high german, his language was polished, his tone courteous. In short: he left a good impression – until the time when the presiding judge, ilona conver, read out the contents of his federal central register extract. Seven previous convictions adorned his record, all of them for crimes against property such as fraud, embezzlement, theft or forgery of documents.
At the new criminal trial, one entry was added to his record. The local court sentenced the defendant to a hefty fine of 100 days at 45 euros each (4500 euros) for drunk driving plus a six-month driving ban.
With the offense, the convicted man enters new territory. On 18. December of last year he was driving his car at midnight with a blood alcohol level of 1.85. He wanted to withdraw money from the bank branch 800 meters from his home. But he never got around to it. A police patrol stopped the later defendant.

No abnormalities

One of the two police officers involved was able to remember the traffic control very well when he stood as a witness. There were no driving violations, the official said about the driver. The accused was cooperative and courteous. The language is only "minimal washed out and only a slight smell of alcohol was perceptible. He and his colleagues were all the more surprised by the high level of alcohol in his breath, which is why a blood sample was taken immediately to confirm the value.
As "unspeakably stupid" the defendant called his lapse. He had previously gone to a friend's house in erlangen to "drink to pleasure" because his relationship with a woman had failed. Afterwards he had drunk something at a christmas market in the main valley. The police car was the only vehicle he encountered in the dark night.
According to the medical report, the defendant's gait was safe despite a blood alcohol level of 1.85, his pupils were normal, and his perception was clear. "Better than me nuchtern", remarked defender alexander wessel, who was responsible for the "snap idea" of his client a fine in the amount of 90 daily sentences of 50 euros (4500 euros) considered sufficient.
Not so the prosecutor. He saw in the accused either a professional drinker or a medical miracle, both of which the 29-year-old denied. The accused was at the time of the crime twice under open custody. Therefore, a prison sentence is in the offing, threatened the prosecutor. Then also the two custodial sentences were revoked, so that the promille driver was threatened with two years in jail. However, the prosecutor considered this to be exaggerated. He demanded a fine of 6000 euros.

Did he learn anything?

In his last word, the defendant was hard on himself. He had already lost a friend to a drunken drive, he said. Has he learned from this?
