The wild boar alarm was received by the operations center of the police prasidium unterfranken a few minutes after 1 p.M. It was reported that two wild boars had chosen a rather unusual place to stay in the middle of neubrunn. They were namely on the roof terrace of a two-story house in the hauptstrabe.
Immediately, two strip crews made their way to the not everyday use. On the scene, it turned out that the homeowner’s father had become aware of the two animals and then notified his neighbor, who is a hunter himself. From there came the call to the police.
When asked how the wild boars had gotten onto the roof deck, it didn’t take much guessing. It turned out that a pressure hunt had been held during the course of saturday, before which the two black coats had apparently been cursed. Their way led them in the middle of the village of neubrunn, where they discovered an open farm gate. From there they went into an inner courtyard and then up a flight of stairs to the roof terrace. There the black coats could then be held in check and prevented from starting a new and not undangerous foray through the community. In the meantime, there was talk that the wild boars have also previously moved through the cemetery.
In the course of the afternoon, the two animals weighing about 25 and 40 kilos were shot on the roof terrace in a joint action by the police and the responsible gamekeeper. The wild boars apparently did not cause any damage during their stay on the roof terrace.
